strategy to replacing and servicing FRUs for LENOVO IdeaPad B50

LENOVO IdeaPad B50-70 14.4V 2200mAh laptop battery

Use the following strategy to prevent unnecessary expense for replacing and servicing FRUs:
• If you are instructed to replace an FRU, but the replacement does not solve the problem, reinstall the original FRU before you continue.
• Some computers have both a processor board and a system board. If you are instructed to replace either of them, and replacing one of them does not solve the problem, reinstall that board, and then replace the other one.
• If an lenovo adapter or a device consists of more than one FRU, any of the FRUs may be the cause of the error. Before replacing the adapter or device, remove the FRUs one by one to see if the symptoms change. Replace only the FRU that changed the symptoms.
Attention: The setup configuration on the LENOVO IdeaPad you are servicing may have been customized. Running Automatic Configuration may alter the settings. Note the current configuration settings (using the View Configuration option); then, when service has been completed, verify that those settings remain in effect.

What can you do to make my DELL F3G33 battery last longer

DELL F3G33 11.1V 3500mAh laptop batter

Choose the right battery. Under the same use conditions, a lower capacity battery will wear out faster than a higher capacity battery because it has to be charged more often.
Use the notebook's power saving controls to reduce battery use in your normal day. For example, turn the Bluetooth off if it is not needed; reduce the screen brightness when conditions permit.
Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. If the system is exposed to extreme cold or hot temperatures, allow it to warm up/cool down before use and before charging.
Contrary to last decades' batteries, modern lithium ion batteries do not need to be fully discharged to maintain health.
All batteries wear with use and time. When you find the runtime is no longer satisfactory, it may be time to purchase a new Dell battery.

1. Turn off the computer's power.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter and turn on the computer's power - if it does not turn on then go to Step 4.
3. Operate the computer on battery power for five minutes. Electrostatic discharge damage on HP Pavilion 15

Electronic components are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Circuit design and structure determine the degree of sensitivity. Networks built into many integrated circuits provide some protection, but in many cases, ESD contains enough power to alter device parameters or melt silicon junctions.
A discharge of static electricity from a finger or other conductor can destroy static-sensitive devices or microcircuitry. Even if the spark is neither felt nor heard, damage may have occurred.
An electronic device exposed to ESD may not be affected at all and can work perfectly throughout a normal cycle. Or the device may function normally for a while, then degrade in the internal layers, reducing its life expectancy.

HP Pavilion 15 14.8V or 15V 2800mAh laptop battery
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the HP Pavilion 15 when you are removing or installing internal components, observe these precautions:
Keep components in their electrostatic-safe containers until you are ready to install them.
Before touching an electronic component, discharge static electricity by using the guidelines described in this section.
Avoid touching pins, leads, and circuitry. Handle electronic components as little as possible.
If you remove a component, place it in an electrostatic-safe container.
