Is Battery LED OFF ?

1. Verify the battery locking latch is engaged, and reseat the battery. If the battery LED comes on, follow the Battery LED ON troubleshooting below.
2. If Battery LED is still not ON, try a good known battery if available.
3. If it works with a good known battery, take your battery to a trustworthy supplier for battery replacement.
4. If it does not work with a good known battery, please take your notebook to an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for service.

Is Battery LED ON ?

1. Make sure you are using the original AC adaptor that was included with the unit. 
2. Recharge the Battery for approximately 4hrs with the unit turned off (Battery LED should be orange while charging and will turn solid green when fully charge)
3. If the battery is working. then it is OK.

NOTE: Toshiba uses a worldwide accepted benchmark program to determine battery life for each notebook model. Battery life tests are based on benchmark productivity suite tests which run on normal battery saving profile. Depending on how your notebook is used, your battery life may vary. For example, if you are using the optical drive to play a DVD movie at full screen brightness and speakers set to maximum volume, your battery life will be dramatically lower than when you are using a word processor document at half the screen brightness.
