B) Right click on Windows Start Button I Device Manager I Batteries I "Microsoft ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery" right click and uninstall it. Now right click on Battery and select "Scan for hardware changes".
Method 2 - Try to calibrate a laptop battery
1. Remove the AC adapter from the laptop.
2.Turn on the laptop. Allow it to run on battery power until the battery is drained to 40 percent of capacity. Hover your mouse over the battery icon in the lower right corner of your toolbar. This will display how much life the battery still possesses.
3.Remove the battery from the laptop. The battery is located on the underside of your computer. Slide the locking mechanism to the side to unlock or release the battery.
