Tips of how to remove Dell latitude e5470 battery

It happens sometimes when the customer does not know how to replace a brand new battery. Today we'd like to introduce you how to replace the Dell latitude e5470 battery.

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. To remove the battery:
a. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board .
b. Remove the screws that secure the battery to the computer
c. Lift the battery away from the computer.
4. Unroute the cable from the routing channel, and remove the cable from the battery。
NOTE: This step is applicable only for a 4-cell battery.
