[Troubleshooting] Frame Rate is limited to 30 FPS on DC Mode in MSI GS40 laptop

Q: When I unplug AC power adapter and play games on MSI GS40 battery power, the frame rate / FPS is limited to 30 FPS, how to increase FPS?

A: Nvidia Battery Boost would limit FPS performance on battery mode, please disable Nvidia “Battery Boost” function in NVIDIA GeForce Experience by following steps.

1. Right click on the Nvidia icon in system tray, choose “Open Nvidia Geforce Experience”.

2. Log in Nvidia Geforce Experience with your account.

3. Click on “Settings” icon, “GAMES” and then switch “BATTERY BOOST” to OFF.
