When you get a new battery and install it correctly, you may aware the battery performance is not as expected, and the battery working time is shorter than your old pack, most people would believe the battery quality is degraded and a new replacement is required. You have every right to do so, but it is not always true, the problem might be the battery icon is not showing a correct level, a lower battery juice may be displayed.
Please kindly understand every battery we sent you is brand new, we also charged them before shipping. they will have certain battery level left when reached you. The problem is the new battery level may not accurate when firstly installed. We suggest you try to discharge it to 10%, then turn off the laptop and leave it for charging for 12 hours. You can try this for 5-7 times, the battery level may be normal then. Please don’t discharge it to 0% and laptop is turned off automatically, this is so called over-discharge, and it may have bad influence on the battery life span.
You may also find the battery does not charge, this refers to another reason：static electricity, you may try following tips to remove the static electricity: Turn off the laptop, unplug the AC adapter, uninstall the battery, then press the power button for about 15 seconds, you may press the power button for multiple times if possible. Finally install the battery hours later, then you may find battery level will most likely be normal.
On the other hand, we suggest you may download third part battery application to supervise the battery health condition. Like “coconut battery”,”smarter battery” ,”Battery Status Monitor” etc.. They all could provide detailed information about the battery health condition and tell how much battery level left, which is quite helpful.
