Recommended HP PK03 XL battery care practices

Recommendations for HP PK03XL battery usage and storage are covered in the user guide for your computer.
Additional battery care practices are as follows:
Store batteries between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F), with 70 percent charge.
Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture a battery; do not short the external contacts on a battery.
Do not leave batteries exposed to high temperatures for extended periods. Prolonged exposure to heat (inside a hot car, for example) accelerates the deterioration of cells.
Discharge the battery to 70 percent and remove the battery if you plan to store the computer (turned off and not plugged into AC power) for more than one month.
For prolonged battery storage, check the capacity every six months and recharge to 70 percent.
If you have a choice of battery types to use with your computer, use the type of battery with the highest capacity rating.
To maintain the battery, run Battery Check in HP Support Assistant once a month.

How to Recondition a Lenovo SB10J79003 Battery

How to Recondition a Lenovo SB10J79003 Battery

Nearly every laptop manufacturer has Power Management software to set power profiles for the device. Many include a battery reconditioning app that can check the "health" of the battery and help restore some of its original performance.

Search your laptops Control Panel or Start Menu for the Power Management software.

To recondition your battery on Lenovo laptops, click on the "Battery Maintenance" button on the Battery Information tab of the Power Manager. Before proceeding, make sure your laptop can be left unused and plugged into AC power for 4-5 hours.  Then click on the "Perform Reset" button. You will be notified when the recondition is complete. Please let me know if this helps.

If you do not have power management software installed check for the power management software driver on the manufactuere's website, download it and install it.

Should I remove ASUS C41N1533 battery when A/C is plugged in?

Many laptop users have this question and we will answer it right now:
The answer is: YES and NO, it depends on the situation.
Having a battery fully charged and the laptop plugged in is not harmful, because as soon as the charge level reaches 100% the battery stops receiving charging energy and this energy is bypassed directly to the power supply system of the laptop.
However there's a disadvantage in keeping the battery in its socket when the laptop is plugged in, but only if it's currently suffering from excessive heating caused by the laptop hardware.
 So:
- In a normal usage, if the laptop doesn't get too hot (CPU and Hard Disk around 40ºC to 50ºC) the battery should remain in the laptop socket;
- In an intensive usage which leads to a large amount of heat produced (i.e. Games, temperatures above 60ºC) the battery should be removed from the socket in order to prevent unwanted heating.
The heat, among the fact that it has 100% of charge, is the great enemy of the lithium battery and not the plug, as many might think so.
